I liked the room was very modern. The complimentary coffee biscuits and water was a nice touch. Location is great easy walking distance to centre. Almost like an air b&b as you are in the townhouses over the road from hotel.

The light being left on in the hallway shone through to the room of a night. The air con is so loud so had to be switched off. The opening and shutting of other peoples rooms was so loud it woke me up on multiple occasions. You almost think the traffic is in your room with passing cars.

Everything, warm welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Full English was excellent. Perfect position in the village. Came for the food festival highly recommend will be back next year 😊

Amazing location, right in the heart of Edinburgh. Tour buses, trams and buses so accessible. Plenty of space for a family. Loved the cloak room especially for wet gear. Code makes it easy to access the property.

No lift, slipped on stairs within first 5 mins- so be careful. wasn't told there isn't parking at the property. need to set aside money for parking nearby as can be 7.50 an hour

Comfiest bed we have ever slept in! The staff were wonderful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was fabulous and very well maintained.

Girl next door helped me alot! Thanks for everything. Location is 23 min walk to the center. Bus 10 goes to the place too. Quiet and cosy room

The room that I booked was really good value for money.

The kitchen could of been a bit cleaner and tidier. I know that guest have to clean up after themselves. But staff need to be prepared to help out. I had to wash a cup up shortly after I arrived at past 2pm in the afternoon just to make myself a cup of tea for example. Staff also need to text guest if the code on the front door is going to change. As I was almost locked out on my third night.

How it looked nothing like the picture on booking.com website. Hotel was shabby, cracked tiles, wallpaper hanging off. Door didn't lock, had to put my suitcase across it. Lift didn't work in the morning. Receptionist was asleep and just didn't want to help. I would never had stayed in a place like this if true pictures had been advised. Tried getting hold of your offices to complain but no success. I will keep trying because I want my money back
