The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The hotel was in a great location, as we were watching a show at the Town Hall (7min walk). It's connected to The Mailbox, so we had a lot of choice for restaurants & bars. The bed was extremely comfortable, I rarely sleep well away from home and I had a good night's sleep.

When checking in, the member of staff who served us didn't tell us where to find the lifts, if we wanted to add breakfast to our stay, where the spa was & what time it was open/if we wanted to book treatments. For a hotel of this level, there wasn't any complementary bottles of water in the room or a fridge to keep anything cold/fresh. One of the taps in the room was leaking & had a constant pool of water around it - we were in a rush & didn't have chance to report this to reception. One of the towels was dirty, but luckily my friend ended up travelling home the same evening & didn't stay overnight, so I used the spare from the wardrobe. The chair in the room was ripped on one side & exposing the foam. A lot of hairs in the bathroom. The café/Starbucks coffee shop was shop before 5pm which seemed odd.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was good - very close to the station and easy to walk into town.

Bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy. Woke up in the middle of the night due to someone else’s snoring from another room.

The beautiful old Georgian building and the close proximity to the the town of Bath. Comfortable bed.

General shabbiness of room, curtains had to be kept shut with a chair as pulley didn't work, table with piece of wood hanging off leg at the back, broken reading light, TV remote control didn't work (guessed it needed new batteries), breakfast cereal receptacles weren't refilled when they ran out, stair rods on the stairs hanging out, no shelf to put your toilet bag on in bathroom, but bathroom otherwise good. The most annoying thing was that the room was advertised as being "5 star" and "luxury in every room". Unfortunately this was not our experience.

Nice area, close to the metro and the center, plenty of shops and restaurants near the hotel.

The bathroom was dirty, the shower cabin was moldy, the bedside table next to the bed was dirty with coffee and cookies, even though smoking is prohibited in the rooms, there was a smell of cigarettes and the bedding also smelled of tobacco.

Fire alarm at 9pm, no staff on site for a while to tell us what to do, when they did arrive communication was very limited and we were all stood around for a while unsure of what was happening and when we could go back to our rooms
