Hosts were absolutely brilliant. Breakfast cooked and served to perfection, with many choices. We were for few days and get caught in rain, so spent afternoon in, so many books, we watched TV. Hosts even heated up in microwave my favourite pudding. Nothing was too much to ask. Shower is really good with perfect power. Bed is comfortable. Window can be opened. Nicely decorated and clean, quiet and beautiful place to stay.

The fact that we left early :D and did not spoil ourselves by enjoying another breakfast. Ha Ha. However host offered even to make take away breakfast for us.

It was a country pub in a lovely setting. The rooms had been renovated and were decorated to a high quality. The bed was comfortable and room was extremely clean. The en suite although small, was clean and good quality towels provided. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The owner was waiting for me on my arrival and was so friendly. Shew me all the facilities that were available to me. The room was clean and tidy. Didn't feel like a B&B at all, was more like a hotel room. Would definitely go back to Pinchbeck and great value for money.

We stayed here as attended a concert just around the corner so was convenient for us to have somewhere local to bed down for the night! Place was nice and clean, just like the photos and fine for our short visit.

No privacy in the window in the bedroom or a blind so it was broad daylight at 4am which wasn’t exactly ideal after not going to bed until after midnight. Property also like other reviews mention has a serious smell of damp that you definitely ignore. Very stuffy upstairs where there is no window to open whilst you sleep.

The only benefit is that the hotel is in middle of centre of Newport and nearby bus stop ( walkable distance).

1) No clean toilets and bath tub is dirty. 2) unable to open the windows for ventilation. 3) Unable to close the bathroom door fully. These things makes to reduce cross ventilation and causing smelly.

Clean, comfy bed, comfy sofa. Blinds on (most) windows good.

TV upstairs didn’t turn on. Radiator in bathroom only hot in one section. Bathroom floor got wet when shower used and no mop provided. Remote control light switches tiresome. No blind on tall window over stairwell, so woke early (5am!) each morning by light coming in. Nowhere to secure bicycles.

Well where shall I start? We had to wait over 30min for our keys because there was a missing curtain in the room. Even after getting the keys we had to wait for staff to come in and put it up. The room we got wasn't the one that we booked. Secondly there was a hole in the bathroom wall causing lots of ants to come in. They were everywhere! In the shower, on the toilet seat even on the bed! Also beds were very uncomfortable, there were springs visible by an eye, none of us could sleep at night because mattress springs were stabbing our bodies.I decided to pay extra while looking for a hotel so I booked this room as they advertised pool, sauna and jacuzzi which was advertised. Unfortunately sauna was broken down, sane like jacuzzi and there was lots of rubbish in the pool, around it and even mould and a hole in a pool itself!
