Good variety at breakfast. Comfy and spacious room. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Must give a special mention to the barman who made the best Porn Star Martini (on duty Sat 27th April at last orders).

One of the ovens in the self serve kitchen did not appear to be working properly, took ages to heat small pizzas. Shower nice and powerful but fixed head meant flooding the floor when selecting ideal water temperature before entry to enclosure.

Didn’t have anyone around to ask for basics like toilet roll ect , rather overpriced for a basic room , man that let us in did not have a clue what he was doing , explained to us that he had just been left to run it that morning

It was horrific. The place smells, very very unclean. The hallways look like a messy family home with shoes all over the place, rubbish on the floor. My bathroom was so unclean it had grime over the sink toilet and shower. There was public hairs in , on and around the toilet and over the wall. The toilet had the prior persons faeces streaks in the toilet. There was no hand soap, the wooden toiletry holder above the sink was covered in goo… my room I selected on the options was a double without the single. But I ended up in a very small double room that they crammed a double and single bed into so very little room to move. Also a large and noisy fridge freezer cramped into the limited space. No eletrical sockets apart from behind the frezzer and they have a massive extension cable running over the bed with one of them large circular extension plugs. When I called the owner up and showed him it all he said well sorry you feel like that, it’s not an expensive hotel and then started telling me it’s because his girlfriend died last year. I asked for the room to be cleaned and he mumbled something and walked off. The morning after he was knocking on my door an hour before checkout asking for the keys which I refused as still had an hour and needed to go to the shop and come back. He then walked into my room telling me to give the keys and I could return still but need to ask staff to let me in, I obviously refused and had to tell him to leave my room. I then left and said to him this whole experience was unacceptable and I want a refund. He refused and walked off. I want a full refund. Not a partial refund. Complete refund.
