Positive section of review
It was chilly during our visit so the log burner and supplied fuel was really appreciated. The location overlooking the sea meant there was always something to watch from diving gannets to a selection of other sea life. The hills in the back drop played host to many nesting sea birds. The Wee House has been nicely renovated and being over three levels there was always a great view to look at, from the many facing windows.

There was nothing to dislike. However if you are not a confident driver it should be noted that it is a single track steep road driving in and out of Pennan.

The apartment is so clean and well furnished. Initially we had some issue with the water heating system, but the team is so prompt to response and quick to help 👍🏼. We totally enjoyed our stay here and in this tranquil neighbourhood, which is just a short walk to the main street of West End with tram line and bus services easily accessible.

Stairs 😄.. but this is common here. Do note that the apartment is below ground level, so you have to walk a few stairs down from the street. The apartment is still well-litted.

The location of Ellinbrook is extremely good close to shops restaurants etc. On arrival we were shown to a super clean room that was very well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep as the house is in a very quiet area. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice and well presented . We will definitely stay here again.

Location, close to the beach and to the zoo. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and this is our 2nd stay here

We was in room 33. The bed felt very small and you could feel every spring. It was the worse bed I’ve every stayed in and left with a very sore back

Properly was very dirty and dusty…marks on walls, electric plugs broken, stains and hairs on the mattress (no mattress protector), radiators dusty and very dirty, oven didn’t work, lack of hot water for 1.5 day..
