  Where to start....this house is absolutely stunning! Set in a beautiful location with amazing views, central yet peaceful, decoration and unique finishings throughout to the highest standard making our stay fabulous. More than enough space for 8 adults to spend the weekend comfortably with all amenities and more, including a bottle of chilled fizz on arrival. We can't wait to return to this gem!

  close to Gatwick airport (by bus or taxi) Good and regular bus service from guest house to airport very peaceful etc nights sleep (had an early check in) within walking distance to shops/restaurants/railway station

  one of the two entrances to the property (front parking area) was flooded (heavy rain) The absence of a lift was a minor issue but it is a converted large house so understandable This should be mentioned in FAQs

  No kettle. Shoddy fittings and poor maintenance (Door lock barrel loose, venetian blinds broken, toilet roll holder broken and missing, bunk bed loose joints/wobbly. This could all be fixed with minimal maintenance.

  The room was small, the shower was over the bath, which was fine, but it was in the corner of the bath which made it difficult to use. Because of this we thought the cost excessive at £770 for 2 nights, no breakfast. We were offered a different room, but we had unpacked and weren’t able to change easily. We shouldn’t have to complain before we are given a room that equates to the cost.
