The Cloisters spa facilities were really nice, we enjoyed two visits there during our stay. The adjoining Pub The Fat Abbot was a lovely location for a relaxing drink with nice outdoor seating for the lovely weather we had. The Manager and his team were all very friendly attentive & welcoming. Sunday lunch was really good and plentiful. The staff in the main hotel were all very pleasant and helpful.

Unfortunately the bed in our room was quite uncomfortable and suffered from 'roll together '. Luckily we were moved to another room as the curtain rail fell down in our original room! The second bed was more comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nice enough but lacking in variety. Overall the property is showing its age and could probably benefit from some tlc.

Great pub - beer and grub - friendly staff with a good local pub vibe in the bar. The breakfast was great with cereal, juice and a hearty fry up. Room was comfy, quite clean and was en-suite. Nothing not to like!!

Not much - was great

Really clean and everything was prepared like a hotel! Good location.. Close to clubhouse, really nice caravan and would book again in summer season when less wet outside!
Negative section of review
The grass was a bog, had to change shoes and even got car stuck in it from slightly overhanging, site wouldn’t help unless I paid £80! Had to get AA out, no fault of caravan but definitely of the site. Started questioning if I was an owner etc. Booked as in information it said pool and entertainment was open get passes from office, but neither were open! One of the bed linen had mould on and the toilet seat fell off more times than I can count,.

We loved staying here. Very spacious, professionally cleaned, warm and very well equipped cottage. Also very suitable for a longer stay.

had all the facilities of a home. which was nice. Bathroom, big kitchen, big room. Not bad over all. cheap and chearful.

The walls must be made of cardboard. I could hear everything in everyone elses rooms through the walls and celling. Very noisy house, creeky floors till late and early morning. made it hard to sleep.

Staff are always very friendly, cleaners included. The rooms are always spacious. Very clean hotel
Negative section of review
Drinks were over priced, the morning breakfast buffet isn't amazing, no vegetarian sausages unless requested but this then means that you have to wait for them to be cooked whilst eating the rest of your breakfast, croissants were stale. The smoking area was filled with dirty glasses and beer cans from the day before.
