Location great opposite decent pub. Breakfast was very nice. Hot tub and room nice and bathroom lovely. Cakes were nice touch.Slightly overpriced but we decided to go for top room.

On the first evening of our stay we dined at The Churchill, there were three of us dining. Unfortunately the dishes were not to the usual high standard. The food was cooked but when served at the table was barely warm let alone hot, in fact one dinner of Scampi and Chips had to be completely replaced as is was not edible. From two other conversations overheard from adjacent tables ours was not the only problem with regard to food quality and service experienced that evening. A shame as previous visits to The Churchill were of an excellent standard. We did not dine at The Churchill on the second evening of our two night stay.

The mobile phone signal is poor due to the fabric of the building. There is WiFi but if you want to use an old fashioned method of talking to someone without using WhatsApp or messanger you have to go outside or stand close to windows
