Well appointed, clean room with everything you need and nothing you don't. Quiet, comfortable and a great place to stay after a very long flight from Australia. Even better when you get a room with a view of the airport and can 'plane spot' from your window! Excellent breakfast selection to cater for all tastes and appetites. Courteous, friendly and helpful staff. You know that the location is going to be within the Heathrow airport compound, which makes it a little out of the way if you want to pop out for a quick meal or pick up some essentials, however highly recommend (we used it twice in during our trip) and both stays were equally as enjoyable.

Great room, lovely staff. The early shift made a huge fuss of our dog, and the late shift politely listened to my husband's life story when they discovered two of them came from the same country as him. They even had a chat in their native tongue. The coffee and croissants are a nice touch in the morning, too. If we visit Manchester again or anywhere else with Rooomz, we will surely be booking in.

We've stayed in this hotel many times when we go to O2. The staff are always pleasant and the beds are comfortable too. Ther rooms had very obviously been decorated since our stay last August (long overdue) which was pleasing. Not much negative to say apart from the shambles at breakfast

Breakfast was pretty awful but thankfully we're not big eaters. There are only 2 coffee machines to serve everyone and one was out of order. No juice either. I can cope with most things but an early morning coffee isn't one of them. The queue was horrendous. There were almost zero plates and definitely zero cutlery. Food choices were ok but there was hardly any availability...the staff were very apologetic. Admittedly we were advised on check in 9/9.30 hrs is the busiest time so surely this shoukdbe taken in to account and not rationed...? Unfortunately this is not the first time we've experienced this at this hotel and also thankfully we aren't fussed about breakfast. But coffee...? That's another matter. .

Room needed updating. Had to ask for tea and coffees. Bed uncomfortable and noise during the night was awful. Someone playing the piano at 2 am and can hear people getting out the lift. Breakfast was cold
