We loved this place!! Fabulous apartment- chic & beautifully clean. Loved the furniture- beds so comfortable. Really spacious- and had everything we needed. Was glam & elegant and child friendly- perfect for our family weekend away for a special Birthday celebration!! Shops SO close (fantastic to have Tesco just there plus independent coffee shops too) yet apartment is set in a lovely leafy residential area. SO close to the beach- a short walk through charming woods (with nearby playground that was fantastic for our kids) took us to the stunning golden sand beach. Great wardrobe space, wonderful master bedroom and fab kids bunkbeds. Really soft comfy bedding that all felt new. Tv with Netflix and free view. Lovely dining table. Highchair for kids and good size kitchen. We will definitely stay again and look forward to it.

Plug sockets slightly low down but used one in hallway and on the right side of the main bedroom. Found it hard to use the shower head couldn’t work out how to use it but next time will ask. Otherwise couldn’t fault it - it’s a total gem and lovely special place!

The room was lovely and clean and had everything that you could need. The area was also lovely and very quiet. There were nice places to eat and spaces to park. Breakfast was also plentiful.

The shower kept overflowing when in use and had to remove the plug so that it would drain and not overflow. The temperature was also difficult to maintain. The bacon was also overcooked on one morning at breakfast and could not cut but it was fine the next morning.

Food was average for the price. Gluten free options were minimal. Walking route from the multistorey car park was confusing as was the route to the terminal. I appritiate there is a lot of building work going on but signage could be a lot better.

Update: I was scammed by this hotel who retained my deposit of 100 pounds without even attempting to notify me. I found out today (May 17) that they deducted my deposit on my credit card and reached out to the hotel. According to them: "unfortunately our housekeeping reported cutlery missing in the apartment after your check out, for that, we retained the deposit." I did not use any cutlery at all, and they didn't bother to tell me at the day of my checkout, and just decided to keep them money for themselves. I can think of nothing else other than this being a pure scam. I will file a complain to the hotel management and Booking.com, as this claim is unacceptable and the way the hotel handles this is unacceptable and unprofessional. I would recommend avoiding this hotel for the sake of your sanity. Original review: The only bed in the room was a wall bed, which is unexpected and unusual for a standard room in a four-star hotel. I would have avoided this hotel if they had mentioned this in the description while booking.

Very expensive for what you get, refused any help or refund by staff and were told we aren’t being truthful about the damage in the bathroom even though we have photos. Strange vent stuck on the wall with a hole behind it, curtains DONT open, a universal key for room and front door leading me to believe it’s the same key for all rooms. Photos on here are very misleading, don’t waste your money.
