The fact about tender least booking.com we could have just paid £2.00 more which would have included breakfast we think this is an intentional ploy. Also the park wasn't included which wasn't obvious. Because the lift didn't work we were offered a room on the lower floor which turned out to be very much less in quality and very dated so we went back to the original third floor. The member of staff told us it was the same quality but it wasn't. So it leaves you feeling slightly cheated overall the more aspects when it would have been a fantastic state if we depend £2.00 including breakfast which we didn't have we ended up eating in our motorhome. Also the staff worked early transparent about the room quality. I was actually taking a review of the hotel it's my hobby and I was disappointed overall.

I like the size of the reception area and the rooms and the position of it could not been better. Also the room we eventually got was quite modern and good and comfortable.

The house was great and it had only just been done up and everything was new and fresh. The welcome little gifts that were put on for us was amazing and it felt just like home. All of the little things like central heating, very comfortable beds, mobile charges in most rooms, every tool you might need (a vast contrast from some place we stayed in earlier). It was away from a lot of lot of convenience and you have to book ahead for pubs but it was so relaxing in the valley. And quiet. And not far to drive to get something. And the hosts and all of the locals were very friendly and helpful

Only thing was it was a small village so you either cooked something that you had or tried to book early. Or had a short drive to find a place close by. But we were generally self reliant and there were shops close by to get things to cook up. And everything you required in the house to cook.

The farm track here was rough with pot holes, the cottage outside grass was not cut. Glad I didn't pay money for the hot tub, it is almost in a bush of laurels, not out in sunshine. The electric tub buttons were broken, I would not touch them safely. In the tub there were snails and slugs. Inside there are two wardrobes, but only had two plastic coat hangers. Put my clothes on the second bed. The worse thing for me is the two sofas. They look old and tired, and the lowest seats I have seen a sofa. Seat is 14 inches from the ground, like sitting on the ground, very uncomfortable, hurt my back. I could not get out of the sofa easy, had to roll over and get up on my knees. the bed is 26 inches high. Most watched TV sitting in a table chair. Minimum eating plates etc. No instruction book for mainly the oven, dishwasher, clothes washer etc. Hand washed the eating plates, knives, pans etc, you do not do dishwashers unless well filled. Too long to write any more things wrong.
