Travelling to Scotland from East Anglia so was looking for somewhere about half-way. The Woodman had ample parking, check-in was quick and efficient and room was clean and comfortable. Had Fish & Chips which were superb! Being a Wednesday, group of "locals" gathered in the bar and took it in turns to play folk songs and generally have a good sing-a-long and a laugh! Was very entertaining. Unfortunately, breakfast was later than I planned so had to miss that although I was offered a packed lunch in its place.

Great location, very comfortable apartment, scilent, the host was always accessible and friendly. With our young kids and baby we were able to walk to many famous places in london. The view from the apartment was great too.

Sometimes the lift was out of order. But it was repaired very quickly. We took it easy since the location was great.

The place is well located, less than two minutes from the metro stop and within 15 minutes walk to supermarkets such as TESCO, Sainsburys, Iceland and Poundland. The house was clean and tidy, with all the amenities needed.

Keep in mind that the coffee maker runs with capsules. Would also appreciate some pictures of the bathroom in the booking, as it has none, and no shower curtain.

Location was perfect, right by the harbour and just a few minutes walk to the high street. Although breakfast isn't an option, there is a lovely friendly cafe almost next door which serves very good food.

I don’t like it’s a basic shower hose. Modern hotel like that should have a power shower. Also the room was far to hot we had to ask for a fan and have window open and it still wasn’t enough. We were both red hot all night waking up groggy and lack of sleep which spoilt our trip and we had 2 nights of that

Lovely grounds. Most staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very tired. Carpet stained quite a lot. Shades on bedside lamps broken. Wall paper torn in places.Toothpaste from previous occupant on bathroom tiles. On servicing room next morning didn’t replace dirty cup with clean one. Breakfast was ok but if you wanted scrambled eggs/ eggs Benedict/ pancakes etc these were all extra. Service at first breakfast wasn’t great but second day was much better (different staff)
