Base Camp Hotel is an outstanding place to stay, perfect for adventure seekers and nature lovers. the hotel is at the bottom of a lane which make you feel like you in middle of no where but you are 3 mins away from a small town, which has a lovely take away and some shops for the essentials, our room was warm, it would have been nice to have had blackout blinds, the kitchen was well equipped , The staff is incredibly friendly. from hiking to stargazing, are plentiful. we were also impressed with how well they recycled. the animals were a lovely bonus :) Highly recommended!

However, it would have been great to have been forewarned to bring change 20p for pool and if you didn't bring your own tea and coffee they have a small amount 50p here 20p there . Overall, a wonderful experience.

The hosts were extremely helpful, responsive and generous. The location was ideal - close to everything. Very good value for money.

None of this is not a mark against the property - I’m sure the hosts have no control over this - but the front door to building itself is off putting and would make you a little nervous, along with the shared entrance to the flat. Once you’re in the flat though all is great - just takes a bit getting used to ! Parking is readily available close by but is paid so ensure you have coins - parking across from Matalan takes cards.

Nothing. It was all good.

It’s close to Wembley stadium. That is it. That is all I liked.

It’s basically a pub/bar with a late night licence so if you like music until 1am I’m sure it’s great. It’s not a hotel though and I paid wayyyy over what it’s worth basically bc they hiked up prices while Taylor Swift was here. Wish I’d stayed further out tbh.

I was given a room in a basement, which I had to go up one floor and then down a flight of stairs around a winding corridor. Room had no windows, and was very warm. There was very little airflow. Panels in closet were broken, as was the waste bin in toilet. In the morning someone in another room was smoking, and the smell got into my room. I've stayed there before and had better rooms. It felt like this was a forgotten room that wasn't well maintained.
