Positive section of review
The room was very clean and comfortable. The setting, close to a busy roundabout, could have led to a noisy room but quite the opposite is the case. Food is typical of this type of hotel but was well cooked and well priced too. Plenty of free parking. The location is outside the main part of the town and may not be so well suited for those wanting to be close to the sea but I wanted easy access to and away from Aberystwyth so the location was great for that.

Amazing location, Great staff - Liam was at the reception when we arrived, clean room, Funny corridor floors. :D Good value for money, not super fancy but had great charm as the building is so old.

Water pressure in the shower and very thin walls, you can hear everything when other guests are going through the corridor. Would have liked better coffee.

Lovely owner. Lots of space in bedroom, bathroom and living room. Nice to be able to let my dog up on a blanket on the sofa. 30+ mins from Lake District walks.

Mostly clean but needs attention to detail. The remote control and laminated instructions were sticky and the fridge wasn't completely clean. The TV got stuck on the apps and there weren't instructions on how to get back to main TV, which was frustrating. It's on a farm so some manure smells sometimes.

The doors are thin as paper. Our neighbors were pretty loud and there was also a really annoying peep sound coming from downstairs. If you don’t turn out the lights from outside the door it’s also pretty light in the room because of the big gap underneath the door
