  Location , facilities and room were excellent. We didn't have breakfast or dinner here as we were out. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

  Shame no onsite cafe for food or drink during the day. Costa at Tesco (10 mins walk away) benefit from all the lost trade!

  I could not use the main bedroom due to damp/leaks. There were traces of fresh water trails on the wall the bed headboard was against and evidence of severe leaks on the ceiling of that bedroom that had been painted over. The ceiling plasterwork was sagging. Not sure what was under it but I have a health condition that means I cannot stay in a property with mould or damp as it can make me seriously ill very quickly. I slept in the small bedroom instead as it seemed fine although there was a lot of dust and dirt on the window frame. Ironically i had to book to book this last minute as the property i had booked for the weekend had mould and rising damp in the bedroom ..... I couldn't find alternative accommodation so ended up sleeping on the sofa for my first night in Hastings .
