The property looked just as good as the photographs and we loved the modern Zakopane-style interiors. A bonus was the Tatra mountains view from the mezzanine window! Everything was clean, modern, and felt safe. The host video-called us to guide us to the accomodation parking, as the road was closed due to upgrades, this was very kind. Although, it would have been useful to know about this detour in the pre-arrival message exchange beforehand.”

  This is an attractive, comfortable house. We had a really lovely bedroom and bathroom en suite. The dining room is brilliantly organised not just for breakfast but for making your own teas, coffees and snacks at any time. The breakfast provided was exceptional - not cooked but fantastic fruit salad, croissants, bread, cheese and much else supplemented by whatever Ann decides to add on - such as boiled eggs, and we were very lucky to get fresh scones. The views and countryside around the house and more widely in South Uist and nearby Eriskay are truly stunning. We were so warmly welcomed by Ann and Maj who helped us to book places to eat (booking is essential) and much else and were there to make sure we had a decent breakfast and see us on our way at 05.45 to an early ferry at Lochboisdale 10 minutes away . A truly exceptional stay and we can’t wait to return.

  Excellent location, room sizes fantastic, cleanliness exceptional, hosts were extremely accommodating, provided us with everything and were always on hand to answer any questions. Beds, sofas etc all very comfortable. Courtesy coffee, tea, milk etc were very much appreciated.

  No parking, but nothing can be done about that, parking just a few hundred yards away, which is free overnight.

  Excellent location, friendly staff, good value and easy, free parking. Clean, great bathroom, good bed. Great terrace to have a light supper with an amazing view. I would definitely stay again.

  It was a hot night so I had to have the windows open and it was very noisy both from the terrace bar and the traffic noise. The breakfast, bad coffee which surprised me in this day and age. Cheap orange juice and overcooked bacon but the eggs were good and the staff friendly.
