  Absolutely lovely property. Lots of space. Great for family and pet safe. Lovely touch with welcome basket. Spotlessly clean. Gorgeous views with added bonus of a bbq . Everything we needed. Very helpful hosts, quickly provided WiFi password for teenagers.. Comfortable beds. We loved our stay.

  Really struggling to find anything to improve upon. One very small observation only, it would be even better if there were blinds or widow coverings on the balcony window in the main bedroom. We still enjoyed the view upon waking though.

  First room allocated was dirty, complained at reception and was upgraded by way of apology to room with pitch view and balcony. Second room very clean and of the standards we have come to expect staying there. Breakfast good. Customer service excellent.

  The property exceeded my expectations. Really nicely decorated and comfy room, great shower in bathroom. Excellent location within a mile of ferry terminal at Tarbert, and much better value. Breakfast was very good and served in a sunny conservatory.

  Characterful, quirky old pub. Staff very welcoming. Good beer. Very comfortable, clean room. Fabulous breakfast. We would stay again.

  Doesn't serve food in the evening but there is a very good Italian restaurant just down the road. It was very quiet when we stayed on a Monday night but it might not be when they have live music at the weekend.

  Had to lug our suitcases up two flights of stairs. The vegetarian option on evening menu was a very small portion in comparison with the other meat dishes. Car parking is very limited.
