Positive section of review
The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, they were extremely apologetic too. The staff cannot be faulted. Really liked the WhatsApp service. Loved the vibe of the hotel. Great experience at the roof top bar, there was a mix up with our table but nevertheless we were given complementary drinks.

There was only 1 bath towel in our room, we didn't notice this until late at night. We requested some more towels around 11.15pm. The staff member who attended our room was very apologetic, he said he couldn't find any bath towels and handed us some hand towels which were not ideal. He did however offer milk & cookies but we already paid for this and Prosecco but it was late and we really just wanted a shower and to be able to dry ourself with an adequate sized towel. The tiles on the balcony floor of the roof top terrace require some urgent attention, they are a health and safety risk. The tiles were not secure and stable and in fact were very wobbly. There was no iron in the room .

It has a private parking space. The kitchen was fully equipped. So, it is good to stay either with a family or a group of friends if cooking is preferred.

There was a minor hiccup for the first night that there was no space heating and hot water for shower. However, after having called the management team, a technician came and set up the timer, then it worked. Another thing is there was no user manual of the equipment such as the washing machine, dish washer and internet TV.

Wonderful grounds and decor of the main house. Rooms are neat and the bed is fantastically comfortable. Spa facilities are comprehensive and spotless.

Room decoration is a very different style to that of the hotel itself. Dinner service is very haphazard, staff feel quite lost (had to wait 45 minutes to order a meal and a glass of water). Sound travels far in the wooden walls and you could hear staff bad-mouthing customers in the hallway which feels a bit gross.
