There was everything available in the house to have a comfortable weekend. Very clean and quiet - just what I was looking for. Plenty of cleaning material to keep the place clean. Very comfy beds, quiet and private garden. Just perfect!

the parking is on street parking but there was normally a space near by. Situation in the western lakes meant an extra hour travelling but it also meant it was quieter!

The Herdwick Inn is a nice, quirky very old building. . The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was very good.
Negative section of review
We were in a room above the bar and it was quite noisy when we were in bed, we understand that this is probably due to the inn being so old. The room was described as "deluxe" and although it was very clean and tidy, it was quite small and standard rather than deluxe. It did feel at times as if the Inn had been recently taken over by the current owners. A chicken based meal would be a good addition to the menu.

The location was perfect! Very close to 3 underground stations and close to a lot of shops.

The room had no windows.

Lovely property and stunning views, nice pub/restaurant, EV charger, very comfy bed.

It was a bit expensive compared to other similar properties. For this price it would have been nice to have slightly more up to date facilities i.e toilet, and maybe more different teas! The breakfast was in a very cold room so couldn’t stay there very long!

It was close to Culloden battlefield - full kitchen facilities.

Neighbourhood was not a great area, couldn’t have the windows open in the evening with someone smoking pot outside. Outside the front door there was a smell of urine. No milk provided for hot drinks and it was around a kilometre walk to the closest convenience type store. Not as clean as I’d have expected in the kitchen area. There was a washing machine but no dryer which would have been handy.
Positive section of review
The late check out, the bar and the room size.

The lifts (had issues with stopping at our floor), no seated area in the room to do hair / make up.
