The room was a lovely size and was an amazing evening for after our wedding. The staff were absolutely lovely and always checked we had what we needed. The food at breakfast was outstanding.

Within easy walking diastance of town. Good size room. Parking.

Confusing directions to property. Nobody there on arrival, no contact until early evening. Very cold bathroom with no heating. No cleaning next day so towels wet, dirty mugs left in room, milk left out in room. Electrical sockets very overloaded so didn't feel safe. Fridge in room wasn't switched on so couldn't put milk in there. Nobody there in morning so had to find where breakfast was, sink, mugs and toaster dirty. We were expecting a cooked breakfast or at least a good continental one, but had to help ourselves to limited cereal choice, stewed plums and yogurt, 2 tiny bite sized muffins, and bread was on the side still frozen. Having been out for the day we came back early evening to see that all breakfast things were untouched and left out on the table, including milk, butter and yogurt. Due to this we chose not to have any breakfast the 2nd morning, we spoke to the owner about it but was not offered any refund. She said it was a 'vintage' bed and breakfast whereas we booked a 'luxury' stay. It was definitely not luxury.
