The room was very nice and the staff were very welcoming in both the hotel and the restaurant and bar. The food was also very good. The staff was also very helpful when we left something behind and held it for us to collect a couple of days later, for which we were very grateful.

The car park was very busy when we arrived and we struggled to find a space. Also no-one was in Reception when we arrived and we had to wait 10 mins to check in. The bar was under staffed and we had to wait in a queue for 15 mins to be served.

Great location. Hugely warm welcome from our hosts. Delicious breakfast, made fresh, with good choices. Clean, comfortable rooms. I would recommend for a short stay.

The double light switch for the main lights was missing one switch "panel" and so the back of the switch was accessible. This obviously posed both a safety risk and also an inconvenience because the main lights in apartment weren't working so I only had incidental lighting from the bedside lamps and one other on the dresser. I did report the issue but was told that there wasn't time to get it fixed (I stayed only one night). Also, curiously, the kitchenette is very well-kitted out including a coffee machine (much appreciated!) and knife block but was missing cutlery. Overall, a lovely stay in a comfortable apartment in a great central location and I would stay there again :-)
