The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
Henley on Thames, United Kingdom

Quirky option for cheap (ish, for Henley) accommodation for a few nights. Equipped with gas hob, kettle, fridge, tv, power points, bed, chemical toilet. The host was friendly and welcoming, tea, coffee , orange juice and a pint of milk included. Plenty of free on-street parking nearby.

The tap didn’t work so no running water… plenty of bottled water was provided, but it’s not so convenient. Bathroom facilities are cramped and basic (if you’ve ever stayed in a caravan you’ll know the score). Right by a busy main road so quite noisy.

Beautiful building, staff were very friendly and professional. We booked a table at the restaurant and the meal was fantastic, good quality of food and drink, and we was given a little token for our anniversary.

This is the second time we have stayed. Our room was a little smaller than the last room we had. The bedding was clean and fresh, and we had a good night's sleep. We stayed in room 704, their was no large mirror in the room once you were changed, so you couldn't really check yourself out before going out, it had large cobwebs in the corners on the walls, and the shower tray was very dirty and discoloured. It had a noticeable yellow stain on it and just looked like it had never been cleaned. We didn’t complain at the as the chap on the desk was very busy and we didn't have time to hang around.

Super clean, modern and bright! Spacious and set in a lovely village near a cosy pub with great food on offer. Some great walks start in the village and we made the most of it! The stars at night were amazing!

The breakfast was great and the principal staff member on in the morning was lovely. They are trying. There was thought behind what was provided and a nice welcome but cleanliness was a big issue.

However, I had a dirty sheet, cups, loo and dressing table stool. There were things left in the shower from the previous person and my room didn't match any of the photos and I wouldn't say the pub does either. I paid a low price so the value was ok but I've been looking in the area since and on those days the price was nearly double which I wouldn't pay.

Cottage was very clean and has all you need for a great stay. Great location near a nice pub and perfect for The Roaches. Parking was handy too. Would definitely recommend.

The shower was broken which wasn't ideal but sure this won't be a problem for others. The rule about no dogs upstairs should probably be explained to people before they book but no other issues.

Nothing.. It was a terrible experience from the check-in to the room and very disgusting bathroom and check out. Poor communication. No staff to talk to.
