Positive section of review
Spacious room, comfortable bed and adequate facilities in the room. The aesthetics of the interior was beautiful when you walk in and seemed to carry through the rest of the building. Close to King's Cross station which was very handy for our short stay, would definitely recommend it for both short and long stay visits.

Staff at the front desk upon departure seemed disingenuous. When I checked in, I opted for the £50 deposit of room service, just in case I decided to order, but in the end I didn't. As I checked out, the front desk claimed that 'Booking.com' was responsible for giving me the invoice of my stay, which included the £50 deposit. Later realised that this was a lie. (it was 5.30am and still very tired when I left, so clouded my judgement a bit). Hopefully they don't pull this stunt all the time, as it isnt a good look on them.

The family room was ideal for 4 adults to sleep comfortably. The bed linen was clean and crisp, and the bathroom facilities allowed for both a relaxing bath and a power shower. The meal provision was excellent and being located next door this worked well.

The location was beautiful with the view to the lake. I have to say a HUGE thank you though. My daughter left her favourite snuddie in the room and when I rang to check, they offered to post it back to us. It arrived the day after, so grateful.

We booked in for our evening meal but we all wanted to eat was something off the light bite menu. We had researched this before our stay and it had bao buns/fajitas etc. When we got the menus there wasn’t the light bite menu and it was more fine dining options. Our party just ended up having several side orders as our meal. We were a table of 9 though so maybe the kitchen was too busy.

The one young lady behind the bar- very insulant and rude. Not willing to listen or help. Please note tho- The rest of the staff went above and beyond and were extremely helpful
