travelled for business, the rooms are pretty basic BUT they are incredibly clean.. the shower was totally spotless. Is it a luxury place? No, but somewhere comfy at a sensible price and the food was pretty good and excellent value.

Breakfast was good but no muesli on offer and the cups were too small Staff were very helpful as was staying for a wedding in the village and also very patient with the post wedding evening at the hotel

location was great, right on sea front. very friendly hosts and very knowledgeable of area. breakfast great, clean tidy room with everything in there we needed, very comfy beds. biscuits added extra.

unfortunately we requested a larger non sea view room not realising it was on a busy main road. so unfortunately I didn't sleep well as too noisy to open window and a bit hot at night, however this was our fault as maybe we could have looked better into location before booking! Both my husband and I usually drink decaffeinated tea and coffee so maybe there could be a choice in room? we didn't ask for any- there may have been some available if we had.

Breakfast was not as advertised. There were no muffins, croissants, cheese, meats, yoghurt or tea bags. There was a distinct lack of cutlery, cups, plates and serviettes. The coffee machine wasn't working one morning (needed it's bin emptying) and the receptionist didn't have a key to do it. We were not impressed at all after paying £11.50 each day, it certainly wasn't worth it for cereal, fruit and toast.

When we got there, there was a power cut so we had to travel a 40 mile round trip to get something to eat . There was no back up generator which a hotel that size you would think they would. Also the breakfast was probably the worst I had out of the 5 hotels I stayed in that week.
