The location is by the canal, which is a nice walk.It was also quite and peaceful due to being a separate building to the pub. There were plenty of parking spaces. The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable .The staff were friendly and helpful. Liked the fact that someone was on duty during the night in the building, and they could see your cars parked from their location.

There wasn't enough tea/coffee provided for the stay. However, this was provided on request. In the bathroom, there was no shelf or place to put your toiletries or toothbrushes.

The hotel is gorgeous with fabulous helpful, friendly staff. Our trip was for a special occasion so they put balloons & hearts in our room which was a lovely touch. The room was beautiful & had everything you needed. We would definitely go back as the location is round the corner from a tube station which made it easy to get about.

The only thing I can fault is our beautiful room had a heating unit outside so it was quite noisy during the night. I mentioned this when we checked out & got an apology & was told to let them know if we stayed again & they would put us in a different room. I would definitely stay again but take earplugs just in case.

The location is great as it's next to the main building of Bristol Uni and there are all the busses that you need, both to reach the main station and the surrounding areas. In the room we could find teas, infusions and coffee. Even if there was an event during our stay, the room was really quiet and comfortable

The hotel is a 4 star one, but it lacks essential features. The shower faucet in my bathroom was a bit broken and it kept falling. It also had some limescale and residuals of cleaning products on it. The shower was also a big problem as it is really dangerous, I still have a bruise on my leg because it's too tall and I nearly fell. Luckily, my mum had the room next to mine and we helped each other getting out when having a shower. I would highly recommend making the showers safer. Another feature that I didn't particularly like was the window as it didn't lock.

Staff at the breakfast room very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. You can walk to Oxford Street, close to the tube, close to the park. A great hotel would return to this hotel.

Nothing, parking was a little awkward, but I was given great directions and locations. It was luck of the draw, and nothing the host could do or change.
