  We stayed over at the White Horse as we were attending a wedding in the local area. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious, and the lunch/evening food looked fantastic (although we didn't get a chance to try it). Alex and the team were absolutely marvellous hosts, going out of their way to make our stay a great one. We would highly recommend staying at the White Horse, we will certainly stay again sometime in the future.

  Easy walking distance of Creswell Crags, local shops and model village. Very comfortable bed, nice big room, fridge in shared kitchen.

  The water pressure was low when we arrived and took ages to fill the bath but was lovely and hot. We were warned it was a ‘lively’ pub so expected noise and weren’t disappointed as it was a bank holiday darts match and the pub was heaving and loud but it didn’t stop us sleeping well and the pub customers were friendly and helpful with directions to places.

  Queues for food, queues for lifts, one was out of order. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, something went missing from my partners bag while it was left behind in one of your ros behind reception while we were out in town and waiting to leave for our flight.
