  Lovely room in an historic property fronting Tewkesbury High Street and backing on to Shakespeare's Avon. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and both my breakfasts were perfection.   Dirty furniture and room, stained walls, wallpaper hanging off, even the toilet was not flushed, no help from the staff to resolve, £100 damages deposit to be paid with a refund on departure which takes up to 5 days to credit back! I am still waiting on a refund from the Hotel following a formal complaint after numerous telephone conversations and emails. Unprofessional staff.
