Great location, great service from both night and dayshift managers. Very helpful, our luggage was delayed from airline and the staff placed all our luggage in our room when it was delivered to the Hotel. We used hop on off bus service to get around London and that stop is 3 minute walk. The under ground is close like 4-5 minute walk as well as Paddington station up the road. We will stay again when we return.The shower had excellent water pressure. The beds were comfy enough. Really quiet and safe neighbourhood that offered a cool pub and a few places to eat and to buy fresh food etc. Top service and friendly

No air conditioning and the weather was muggy, the fan provided was sufficient but definately would be good to have fresh air. Need ventilation in bathroom as theres a musty smell. Bathroom a little small but i managed ok. Im 6ft and thick set so was ok. If they can fix tgese issues it would be a superb rating.

Great host. Very friendly chatty and helpful. Bedroom was comfortable and spotlessly clean. All eight guests sat down together at the one big table for dinner, a wonderful catalyst for interesting conversation, stories and laughter. A perfect stopover for visiting Hadrian’s Wall.

Beautiful surroundings , room impeccably clean , we were looked after so well, the afternoon tea was fantastic as was the breakfast, amazing staff, we were made to feel very special.

The room was clean and simple. Good double glazing meant you’re not hearing the traffic on the road immediately next to the accommodation.

The main doors to the building were not locked at any time meaning that although the bedroom itself had a lock, anyone could technically be in the building. The internal walls are very thin so you can hear TV’s and the front doors slamming at any time of day/night.

Very convenient in Clifton for where we needed to be based. Well equipped, modern and clean. Easy and clear check in and check out.

The mattress could have had a topper to make it more comfortable. There was no loo brush. If you turn the bed around the renters could have bedside reading lights - a lack of these was annoying. Desk space would have been useful. A little hard to find as there is a flat on the opposite side which has a similar number. Perhaps specify in the directions as I think the lady in the flat often has people ringing her bell!!

Lacked a frying pan and a tin opener 🙂. Personal preference would have been to have had the beds in the second bedroom in the extension with the French doors. Second toilet and shower room had paint peeling off the walls (presumably incorrect paint used) and dust/cobweb in the (floor) corner looked to have been there ages

The twin beds were pressed together, when we moved them apart there was mouldy food between them. Air con was broken
