Would highly recommend ! Very clean and spacious apartment split over two floors. Top floor comprising of an open floor kitchen diner and living room area, as well as a double bedroom and family bathroom. Bottom floor has a very spacious master bedroom with an en suite. Location and facilities were great, instructions and communication throughout were also very good. Owner was very friendly and helpful during our stay - Thank you Harry ! 👊😎

Nothing major to highlight, just clear numbering on the car park spaces could be added, as some parking slots appear to be numbered whilst others aren't, which can cause guests to park incorrectly leaving some neighbours unhappy, as was the case during our stay 🙂.

The price for a superior room was less than half of every other hotel in the area, and there was parking, which for Battle high street was fantastic. In general, if you literally just need somewhere decent to sleep, it's ideal.

Our room, as a Superior, just needed a bit of a freshen up. Just a lick of paint and a new pair of curtains.

Everything was done well. The kitchen has good appliances and there were sufficient materials so we could make our own meals. The rest of the house was up to code and well maintained.

There is no way this is a true 4 star hotel, I wouldn't even rate it 3 star. - the rooms were dated and had black mould growing on our bathroom ceiling and damp patch in the bedroom - clear lack of staff running the place, there was one woman dealing with a party of 25 and we had to go hunting to actually find a staff member to seat us, then to take our order. The same woman was juggling bar orders with reception and serving in the restaurant. No fault of hers, it was clearly poor management of the hotel.
