Great location next to the canal and a short walk to the town centre. Liked all the personal touches that made it feel like a home rather than a hotel room. Generally speaking we can highly recommend. The other comments are intended to be helpful rather than criticism!

Maybe we are getting old, but the matress could have been better quality, and the bed needs some of the allen screws tightening (we used the loft bed but the other bed is identical). The information sheets were inaccurate, referring to a lawn for example. There was no Wi-Fi password leaflet so you have to know to look on the bottom of the Wi-Fi router. How to use the TV was incorrect and led us to think NowTV must have been available, but it seems they just provide internet access. Some more detail on how to turn the central heating on would be useful (we figured it out, but it might confuse some not used to combi boilers).

Room was great - we had the double room with private bathroom on the ground floor that was great. Comfy bed, hot shower, what more could you ask for? Beautiful little town as well

The curtains were blackout but they weren't against the window so light got in through the sides and had me awake at 5am

Checkout 10am on a Sunday. Old clunky style room, kettle cable not quite long enough to reach the plug socket from the shelf on which it sat so had to go on the floor to boil.
