  The breakfast was excellent, good choice and host very helpful. Location of B&B very good for walking and great choice of restaurants. Little extra’s in the room like fresh milk and biscuits great touch.

  Friendly welcome, in spite of the appearance of the hotel (covered in scaffolding). Lovely room with all I needed and a delicious breakfast, a nice change from the usual "full English ".

  Very comfortable rooms, good beds, great location being in the market square but quiet. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious - compliments to the chef. Friendly staff.

  All other drinks were fine but the beer was warm in the evening. This was a big no no for my husband. There was clearly a problem with the pumps that the staff were unable to resolve. Parking was an issue for us as we kept having to move the car.

  Location was excellent with very short walk to centre of town. Plus a pleasant ten minutes walk along the canal to the rail station.

  Bathroom very badly equipped - taps and shower ran hot and cold. It was a wet room literally - shower drained towards other end of the bathroom instead of the plug hole toilet paper really thin and in a container that looked like it belonged in a public toilet. We stayed 2 nights, weren’t given clean cups and bins not emptied. Breakfast really disappointing for the £15 charged so on second morning we went to nearby cafe Nero for good breakfast at half the price. Hotel nearly empty but we were given room far from our friends and both at back of hotel. Give this hotel a miss!
