Alma Cliffe was a perfect stop off on our long distance cycle ride, our Bikes were able to be securely locked in a shed, our room was excellent with a bathroom and lots of little extras provided should we have needed them. We were able to purchase a takeaway and eat in in the dining room/lounge set aside for our use for our evening meal and the Continental breakfast provided could not have been better. I would recommend a stay if you are in the area and will certainly use it again if I am ever there. Thankyou very much.

This is a cosy, comfortable place with great walks in the woodlands and bus connections to Bournemouth and Poole. 15 minute walk into Wimborne. Great hosts, always friendly and helpful whenever I stay here.

Always a lovely stay here. No problems for me.

It was pleasant and clean. They took an extra payment for one room a few days after we had left but when i called them up and questioned it they were quick to rectify their mistake.

This is graded as 4star hotel but I’ve stayed at better to be honest. Thankfully it was just an overnight stay. I booked 3 rooms in total. 2 had a bit of smell to them so we just opened up the balcony windows while we were out. The pilliows were horrible, no substance to these at all. There was no slippers or dressing gowns in the room and you would expect that from a spa hotel. The tea and coffee facilities were really basic and cheap, the tea bags were weak and easily came apart and also the balcony doors for me quite stiff to open.

The property itself was ok once inside. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. The location was good altough it was not on Rodney Street as advertised
Negative section of review
The entrance to the property is very poor. Its incredibly scruffy and the locks need attention. The coffee machine had the wrong type of coffee pods provided. The radiator in one of the bedrooms didn't work. I was very unhappy that we were asked to pay a damage deposit AFTER we had booked and committed to the property. It was either pay a £25 non refundable payment or a £250 refundable payment (of which £10 would be kept for admin) Very misleading.

Great location and the room was comfortable and cosy. The receptionist even gave me a room overlooking the airport so I could plane spot in the evening.
Negative section of review
The cost. It seems inflated just because it's an airport hotel, and even more so if you happen to want a weekend night.

Excellent choice of continental and cooked. Cooked breakfast was very well cooked. Very attentive staff.

I have an issue in general with service charges especially on draught beer, adding 12.5% to a £6 pint is a little bit cheeky to be honest especially when eating in the bar.. I know you can refuse but it creates an awkward situation. I consider myself a good tipper and prefer a discreet tip to the server directly.
