The room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean, and tea, coffee, water and biscuits were in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. It's on a busy street and I was expecting to hear traffic noise but the room we had was at the back and was very quiet. It's within walking distance of the centre of York.

Absolutely everything!!! The accommodation was faultless it had everything you needed to make your stay a memorable one. The park and facilities were spotlessly maintained and clean, location wonderful and made everyone feel calm and happy 😊

Having to leave after only 2 very short nights and I did think that the price of the entrance to the starlight club was a little over priced per night as we were in private accommodation.

Lovely hotel, and ideal for the city centre. Easy parking using the Q parking system. Fantastic breakfast as well as excellent choices for the evening meal. What struck me most was how happy and hard working all the staff were.

I had asked for a room on a low floor and near the stairs as my wife suffers with her arthritis but we were given a room on the top floor nowhere near the stairs.

The apartment was damp and smelling. Couldn't check in on time as the owner was just arranging cleaning at the time. Cleaning was rushed, furniture and fittings were very dirty. Extra beddings were dirty and smelling. I had to buy lots of air freshner for the apartment and kept all the windows open till midnight of the first day, just for fresh air to permeate the apartment. The lockbox is old and faulty, and I broke my fingernail while trying to open it. Overall, poor maintenance culture by the owner.

Outdated, smelly damp areas, curtains cheap an letting loads of light in. Hotel was empty, but i still got a room next to the extractor fans. Paid for a superior room, basic at best. Hotel needs money spending on it and turning into a 21st century hotel.
