The staff were absolutely outstanding nothing was a bother to them they work very hard for all the staff that they have. No one could fault them at all. The lounge is very comfy along with the dining areas. Bedrooms are very large along with a massive bathroom. Had breakfast and dinner both days and nights the food is excellent and you will need to do some research to find better food anywhere in Dumfries. ( Compliments to the chef with everything that was ordered ) 5* The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well kept.

The bed was very firm for my liking, having said that the bed linin was spotless. You will need ear plugs as the trees surrounding the Hotel are full with Crowes and it was a very hot weekend. The noise of them at 4am on a Sunday and 4.30am on a Monday would send you crazy. So do yourself a favour and bring ear plugs.

You couldn't get a better position on top of the cliff with a wonderful view of the sea . The food is excellent,breakfast you have everything you could wish for ,cooked breakfast, porridge, cereals,toast , yogurts,fruit and croissants freshly baked and warm . Evening meal ,3 courses ,very good value for money and delicious. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble,and they make the hotel . I would go back in an instant ,keep doing what you are doing

Fantastic hosts who were helpful and engaging at every level. Every request was met with a smile and a positive response. If you want a calm quiet environment with excellent 'self catering' facilities then this delivers on every level. The lodges are very well equipped and immaculate.

Lovely hotel, short walk to centre or tram right outside. Hotel staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Beds very comfy, great shower in a good sized bathroom. Hotel overall excellent.

Fabulous stay, wonderful cottage very clean and well equipped, clear instructions for check in, excellent location in centre of Oundle. Chocolate and milk on arrival a bonus! Would.stay again.

My room was very dirty. The shower was not easy to use. There was dust everywhere. The room was cramped and small. My tea and milk was not replaced on the second day.
