This a very easy question to answer. Everything!! They really did think of every. The apartment had it all it was like being in my own house. Complementary wine on arrival. The little things like fresh coffee in the fridge. No need to buy the normal thing you buy when renting an apartment for a few days. Simple stuff like salt, pepper, bin bags I truly could go on and on for pages. Extra pillows, blankets. TV in every room. Wi-Fi was good. Parking was so easy and free for the weekend. Would I and my friends stay here again 100% just a shame the race meet was cancelled due to poor weather. Roll on next time.

I have been in all the available hotels and rooms in Rotheram as I had to book while on placement and in the end Rowan House has been the room where I have been most comfortable regarding bed quality, cleanliness and quiet. I was surprised because it is in a house, not a hostel, but that does not make a difference. Coffee, tea and herbal teas in the room and the bed was really comfy.

The first time I came I was not sure if I was at the right place as the house is in a corner. The name and number of the street is clearly signalled but the sign ' Rowan house' is only visible once you open the gate and go down the stairs towards the house. I called the host and he reassured me I was at the right place

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and it had windows that open, which is important for me. I loved the Crabtree & Evelyn products in the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious.

Excellent location for the city, yet still quiet once inside. Clean and well supplied for a city stay. Fantastic immediate help from the owner when we couldn’t work out the heating

We paid for our dog to stay and where put in a room that was so small we kept falling over the dog ! Bathroom light kept going out whilst in the shower so this is extremely dangerous also shower gel didn't work Definitely not value for money
