Lots of personal details, milk in the fridge on arrival, and biscuits in the kitchen, flowers in the living room. Very lovely! The house was clean. Loved the new bathroom and the washing machine. Very spacious. When contacting us, the owner was always very polite and pleasant. The city centre is very close, about a 15 minute walk.

I wish I had known about what kind of street the house was on, as we had never been to Leicester before. It is a very rough area. Noisy throughout the nights and a constant wiff of weed in the air. It all made us (two women travelling alone) rather uncomfortable. Beds and sofas were a bit worn out, and the beds were quite squeaky. On the upper floor, there was a third bedroom used as storage. The door wouldn't shut because of the carpet, and there's a damp smell emitting from it. It had a bit of an uncomfortable vibe, to be honest.

Lovely very comfy double bed. Good size accomodation (one bed unit). Good cooking facilities. Good solid wood furniture. Lovely site, very well maintained with good lighting at night, right in the middle of the countryside.

The sofa was not too comfortable as the seat cushions needed extra support at the rear. A cooker hood would have been useful as the cooker was nowhere near a window. Also there was nowhere in the shower to put any shampoo or soap etc, but the new manager said this was going to be dealt with.

Great breakfast, with plenty of continental and hot options! Very friendly and efficient staff, a short walk from Stratford Station. Had a wonderful 2 nights.

It was ground floor next to a very noisy road, difficult to sleep. The room was quite small for the price. The bed was too soft. No coffee only tea.
