A quirky but lovely find in Porthcawl. 2 minutes to the sea and all the town amenities. A comfortable room, (Kings Room on 2nd floor), with a bath in the room. Huge bed. Plenty of drawers and wardrobe space, coat hangers, continental breakfast items, free Welsh cakes, a glass of wine, chocolates and peace and quiet. Highly recommended but just don’t go when we want to go!

Very welcoming and approachable. Was given a good recommendation for having an evening meal which was walkable. We were very lucky the Harbour Inn had a cancellation which allowed us to stay. The rooms -1 with 2 Singles and 1 with a double were clean and bright. Coffee/tea making facilities. The en suite shower room was perfectly clean with plenty of towels.

We stayed here for three nights and it was the best! Comfy, good location for our daily trips around Aberdeenshire, the host was really friendly and had great suggestions for what to see and prepared a delicious breakfast that kept us full until dinner. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Excellent room with good facilities the position of the hotel makes it very convenient and the car parking was good. The staff were very helpful and I would like to have tried the restaurant as it looked good but I had meetings in the evening and at breakfast

It is very close to a busy road so the room suffered from traffic noise until late and from early. Better double glazing would have helped

Not a lot, it felt very claustrophobic, it was like being put in a prison cell (not that I’ve been in one) no window, Have to ask your partner to move as there is only one way out of the bed.

Everything - the cost charged we would have preferred a premier inn and short term car parking and still got change, plus there wasn’t anywhere you could have sat down and had a meal in comfort.
