The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Perfect location, lovely hotel and very helpful staff They were happy to help accommodate my mums needs even after I forgot to tell them when booking. She struggles with stairs and they managed to move us to the first floor which was better for her as it was only one flight to deal with

Our room had no aircon or ventilation. When we tried to call down to reception the phone did not work - so we had to take the lift to reception to get someone to come and check for us. After inspection, they said they could move us to another room - that was a downgrade from our current room and bring in a spare bed. Given we paid for double double rooms we chose not to move and the offered us a small portable fan. In the morning we had ordered breakfast to our room as we had an early start for the Half Marathon taking place and the food arrived late, cold and also undercooked. The charge of this was £30. Upon speaking to reception there were unapologetic and did not provide the level of service you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Had to park 2 streets away. However, if I got there earlier in the day, I may have got one space.

Accessing the communal doors was tricky. Took long time for codes to work and fob didn't work on car park door. Only 2 outside chairs available for balcony despite apartment for 4 No instructions for oven so gave up trying to get it to work 5 weeks of roadworks meant access road to property was closed so directions we had been given were no use and had to follow confusing diversion signs so a little warning of this would have been useful.
