Guest services were exceptional. They really made an effort to make our stay memorable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The gym is one of the best I've seen in a hotel. Great pool, and a ballroom no less. There were lessons while we were there, which was fun watching them learning their steps. Almost made me wish I could dance....almost.

Not much, really. The room was a little dark. I like to read in bed before retiring, and the bedside lamps were a little underpowered. Booking.com has asked me to write 2-3 sentences, and I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel, trying to find something negative.

What an absolutely gem of a place. We had a flight early in the morning, so I booked this hotel last minute. For the £40 we paid, I didn't expect much.The rooms are above basic and clean. The restaurant was really good and the vibe in the beer garden was great too. The airport wasn't too far away, and the main road took us straight into it

The apartment is in a great location, I really liked the shops and restaurants in the area. The apartment itself is comfortable, cosy and modern. Really nice touch with the toiletries in the bathroom.

There was a slight issue with checkin - the information provided indicated there was a lockbox but there was not. Eventually found the keys anyway!

Door to room is key pad entry which was great but with no manual lock on the inside it did make my anxiety flare up. Put the chair in front of the door just incase

despite paying extra for late checkout a member of staff came banging on my door telling me it's time to leave. I had to interrupt an online business meeting to correct this member of staff who was very rude and quite aggressive
