  Air conditioning dripped throughout the night so we had to turn it off which made the room incredibly warm. Unable to open the window due to outside noise. Also, we were unable to have breakfast due to an early start but the hotel were unable to box up a takeaway breakfast.

  Hotel shrouded in scaffolding as roof works were going on. We were told they had just turned up that morning so the hotel staff were unable to forewarn us. We were sceptical about this as it was a huge amount of scaffolding. Work started shortly after 8am and car parking space was very limited due to the arrangements. The bathroom was very cramped but serviceable although we had to request toiletries and the sink only emptied very,very slowly. Although clean, things felt a bit shabby.
