The pool area is gorgeous, very relaxed with plenty of seating and beds. The most stunning sunset views , it is definitely a standout feature of all the hotels we stayed at in Bali.”

      The location is excellent providing a wonderfully natural and unspoilt location in the Scilly Isles. The hotel staff were very friendly and obliging. Our room looked out over the sea and provided a beautiful view from St Martins.

      Although the food was well prepared and kindly served, we felt it was very pricey and at times mean in relation to portion size. Breakfast is excellent and generous but the choices available for lunch and evening meal are in our view, very expensive and short on vegetables. This may be because the Scilly Isles are a long way from the mainland and there are supply issues, but even Sunday lunch was very short of the humble carrot and roast potato. Vegetables are healthy and add colour and joy to a meal. They are really important when away from home; endless high fat options may taste lovely but over a few days can become quite unpleasant. We would have liked to see a simpler lunch menu with good bread, a healthy soup or salad option. (The Ceasar salad on offer was poor and terribly overpriced.)

      The fact that i paid for dinner on arrival, only to be told i should pay again for extras of which it was not mentioned we had dinner thinking we are sorted aready ítems of payment then boom please pay 67 pounds again😏

      Position is good , view across the creek when tide is in are lovely .

      The price booking.com charged is £316 peg night when the same room was available direct on the arrival day at £234 and hotel would not adjust the price although Booking.com implied they may help If not happy . We had left over food and plates left in a cupboard from a previous guest .
