Central , excellent house and decor. Parking outside (with permit sorted by host) . Comfy and excellent shower. 3 guys working away, spot on and better than hotel. Cafe across the road for breakfast.

The room is not exactly as described. The bathroom is shared. There is a camera in the kitchen area which is obvious and not hidden but we weren’t made aware of it prior to the stay. The room door itself wasn’t lockable which would have been a huge issue with us if we had luggage and other people were staying in the property. I think being able to lock your room is a bare minimum expectation.

The toilets smelt so bad it was coming through the bedrooms it smelt like sewage coming from the toilet. It was very unpleasant and my guests had to sleep in the living room due to the smell which isn’t fair as I have paid for this. I was shocked at how strong it was I couldn’t leave the bathroom door open because it reeked. Also there was no AC in the bedrooms it got claustrophobic as there was no windows for air to come in.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Me and my friends stayed here at the end of April for a concert in Birmingham. We had already been messed around by 2 previous properties so by the time we booked here we had already missed half of the concert,We paid £280 for the night to stay here and we also had to send a £250 security deposit (Expensive) which I did before being told where the keys were ( a shop a decent walk away) and on arrival the beds were dirty and had been slept in (from previous guests) there wasn’t even a toilet roll in sight, the bath had gross water in it with hairs and pubic hairs. We were told to change the beds with the linen in the cupboard and we would be refunded the cleaners fee! We checked the cupboard to then find that the said “clean bedding” had bin bags full of food and rubbish flung on top of them so stunk and also could not be used. We sent the guy photos and he advised us we could have a full refund and I told him we would have to stay as no other choice but that all 4 of us would be sleeping on the sofas due to the beds being slept in and still with dirty bedding. We didn’t touch any rooms as we all slept on the sofas and then left the next morning we had no contact back from the owner as to where to leave the key so we took it back to the shop we got it and haven’t heard from anybody since.. we have chased my £250 deposit and still almost 3 weeks later have not received it!! This has caused me financial stress and it will be getting taken further as this should not be happening to people!! Do not stay here as they will steal your £250 security deposit!! £530 it has ended up costing us for afew hours in this shambles of a situation where we couldn’t even sleep in beds and they couldn’t even have the decency to send me my deposit back. Absolutely shocking and they should be ashamed!
