Very clean and modern (but I was expecting something a little more like a hotel than a shared house). We didn't love the vibe from the outside and initially were unhappy with the surrounding area but the interior was clean, spacious and modern. Luckily there was only one other couple so we had the run of the place but it would be a different story with others using the communal areas. We only saw one member of staff briefly so little to comment on in that respect. Good bathroom and shower. Spacious room. Comfy beds. Great that TV streaming channels are provided. Nice back yard with plenty of seating for relaxing in the sun.

Not much provided in the way of tea (very few teabags) and you have to provide your own milk etc. Luckily there are two little supermarkets nearby, within a short walk. The communal area was extremely warm but our bedroom was cold. We didn't like the area (initially felt unsafe but actually I think it's just that area isn't exactly pretty). I don't think it was that much cheaper than a hotel so I wouldn't book again...

we had a great time the cottage was perfect for our family felt relaxed from the first minute we arrived , garden was amazing and the cottage was immaculate, great location with the beach and town within 10 minutes walk away we would definitely recommend and will be staying again soon

Immaculate lodge, well equipped, beautifully presented and comfortable with lovely homely touches. Fantastic outlook and location overlooking the small loch. Short walk to The Kirkstyle Inn for food and refreshments. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous place with a beautiful comfortable room. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Excellent location being in the centre of the village but very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended.

The male staff member when we arrived was condescending and difficult. We arrived early and used the wrong word for the Raddison suit booking he also asked to see our pre paid booking on booking.com? When I enquired if we could sit in the lounge, his response was not until we have checked in. We had communication with Raddison and had agreed if possible we would pay the extra to check in early.I fully understand early check ins are on availability. We sat in the foyer for 5 hours patiently waiting. When we approached the counter at 3.00pm the lady was lovely and genuinely surprised we had been sitting in the foyer that long.She asked if we had let anyone know. The male staff member was still there, he completely ignored us. Yes she could see our pre paid suit booking without us having to show it. The lounge area for pre dinner drinks wasn’t set up until 6.30 not 6.00 and our dinner booking was 6.30 so we also couldn’t utilise this.
