On arrival staff were very helpful and polite, making check in and queries easy. Property was easy to find, clean and tidy room with easy to operate air con system. Had bathrobes, slippers and hairdryer available saved me packing extra items

It is not luxury ….we had a 6 hour journey and simple touches like tea and coffee would have been a nice touch …. Unsafe upstairs window that opens very wide posing safety risk Very noisy boiler system when shower on so would be suitable to use if trying to get small children to sleep as it’s very loud …

Nasty lady with blonde hair and glasses who was managing. Booked the restaurant for my partner and myself for 8pm via message. My father called up the venue to say he wouldn’t be arriving until 10pm which caused confusion amongst the hotel I must admit, as they didn’t know who was who. We arrived shortly after 8pm (last orders). Myself, my partner and later my father apologised for causing this confusion. She then angrily and combatively said to me and my girlfriend “you’re lucky you’re still being served” and aggressively and angrily rushed us to take our food order. What a DISGUSTING way to treat your PAYING guests who are paying several hundred quid to stay and dine at the hotel. She really shouldn’t be working in hospitality.

Lift wasn't working, again this made our experience very difficult getting up to 2nd floor. One lift worked, but this is only ok if you're on that side of the hotel. Otherwise lots of up and down stairs and felt like a very long way as my husband unsteady on his feet. Wouldn't go again unless was on ground floor
