For mere 10 minutes walk from the town centre, the place was a real treat. Decorated and equipped with a lot of thought, practicality, and good taste. Very comfy bed. Maps and brochures of walks and area information available. Free complementary breakfast items, which saved us a lot of hassle in the morning.

Very easy, Chloe met us at the property handed over the keys and gave us a very comprehessive tour of the accomodation and all of the ammenieties, she was very friendly and when she left she messaged us with additional information that was in the pack but not clear about the outside seating area.

Hairdryer in room was a plus, also location was quite nice - very close to the metro station. Bathroom was clean.

Very thin walls, we could hear the music and conversations form the other room. Bed was very uncomfortable. A light bulb sticking out of the ceiling instead of a chandelier is quite embarrassing.... No soap in the bathroom. Dirty walls.

The hotel is well located for the Arran Ferry. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay.

The hotel was run down and shabby. The bedroom and bathroom are desperately in need of modernisation, the furniture was really worn out. The bedroom window was very overlooked but didn't have any kind of privacy blind or curtains. There was a blackout blind which was only really for use when sleeping.

Room was on top floor which seemed like forever to get too and we were shattered everytime we had to leave and come back, the shower was rubbish, the air con pumped out hot air which was uncomfortable (I did call reception regarding both, nothing happened) staff were mostly foreign and just grined at you no verbal communication even when we thanked them. Bed was 2x singles not a double that I thought I was getting and kept moving apart. The pictures on the site are not a true reflection of what it actually is, very dated!! The pictures of the garden out the back which had a seating area and a nice garden was overgrown and you you couldn't see the table anymore. Very disappointing.
