Though the checkin is self-completed there were some staff in the shop area (during working hours) to assist with anything if needed. Otherwise the communication before checkin with door codes, etc. was very easy and convenient. The aparto itself was comfortable, clean and quiet. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice aparto style accommodation in Porto with nice restaurants close by (for dine-in or takeaway).”

  The location was amazing as we had harry potter tour booked, gf selection was good for breakfast, rooms clean and hotel was clean. Sylvia was lovely and could not do enough to help us in the mornings. If you asked for extra towels or anything the staff would bring them. Very welcoming staff. Large carpark and very local to a small retail park( including sainsburys and just a 10 min walk away from local mcdonalds and Subway). Would definitely stay again.

  There was 1 man on reception who was rude when I asked about if the hot chocolate is gluten free due to my son having coeliac disease. The man was very rude.

  Due to the electronic locks it's very easy to use without the need for keys. We liked that it had everything we needed in a very small space. The convection microwave was awesome for the lasagne from sainsburys 5 minutes down the road. Nice shower, no drop in pressure being a shared supply. Complimentary tea and coffee was nice. Bed was comfy. Tv worked fine. Heating if we needed. Nice LED lighting.

  We had a room at the front of the building. Road noise can be loud at night. Door to the room wasn't very soundproof and the electronic locks make a loud beeping when used. There was a hob but no pots or pans but the convection microwave made up for it. Some staining on the towels although they had been washed.

  Exceptional, Julie and Kevan were wonderful warm hosts and their beautiful home was full of interesting items. So much thought had gone into their home and guest amenities, it was for us, a very special stay. Everything was first class and I would recommend the Salmon Landing’s experience, outstanding.

  Lovely house. Clean. Private. Relaxing. Generous sized rooms. Great nearby walks. 40 min drive to central Edinburgh. Friendly and relaxed hosts.

  Beds and pillows were satisfactory for short stay but not particularly comfortable. Some noise from road - traffic lights are very close to bedroom window. Easily resolved/reduced with window closed.
