  Lovely staff. Location was good for our one night stopover when attending a gig at St Mary’s. Reasonably priced room. Spotlessly clean everywhere. The outdoor area near the sports bar was nice as we arrived in sunshine. We had an enormous bed which was really comfortable, and lovely pillows!

  We couldn’t get into our room until 45 minutes after the 3 pm check in. I appreciate this was beyond the hotel’s control ( linen hadn’t turned up) but we needed to leave again at 4 to attend a concert so we didn’t even have the opportunity to have a shower. It all felt rushed and stressful. Some areas are looking quite tired- threadbare carpets in places and curtains in our room going into holes, cracked tiles on bathroom floor. Hugely expensive breakfast ( we didn’t have it) and high bar prices are a trade off for a very reasonably priced room. We struggled to find a parking spot, despite a huge car park, and there are very few disabled bays which we really could have done with. No dropped kerbs on the paths within the car park areas either.
