Nice staff, good location (although not exactly straight forward to get to - an expensive Uber when considering the distance), facilities looked reasonable however I arrived too late in the night to use them (personal decision - I was still offered food/drink).

I was able to hear the planes at night - the downside of the good location. Bathroom had a bit of poor smell.

Liked the location and the charm and cleanliness of the Angove, good choice of breakfast and plenty of it. The hosts were friendly and made suggestions on what was on during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks

Calum was lovely, breakfast was good. Hotel definitely could have been cleaner but was fine for 1 night stay. Probably a bit too expensive for the cleanliness of the place. Parking was good.

Air conditioning not working in the rooms making for unbearable hot room temperature of 25c! Comfortable sleeping was impossible. I didn’t manage to sleep all night. Asked a member of staff about it who said the only way to solve the problem was to open the window! We did, but it didn’t change the room temperature. In fact it was half a degree warmer @ 25.5c overnight. And there is a lot of noise from outside traffic, which made sleeping difficult. According to the staff member the a/c problem has been a problem for a long time. For a company as big as Marriott, this really needs to be sorted quick. It’s a pity because it’s such a lovely hotel. I will be coming back, only if there is proper functioning air conditioning.
