Very clean, our room was super quiet and the deep carpet along the hallways really helped to keep noise to a minimum. We asked for a twin room and despite constantly getting a worrying message ‘we will do our best to accommodate your request’ we were given a twin room. Much relief. Housekeeping topped up supplies daily and did an excellent job. The window opened which was much appreciated as many hotels have sealed windows and air con has to be used. Reception staff were professional and courteous. The hotel is in easy reach of the Royal Albert Hall (why I was there) and the History and science museums as well as being near tube stations.

There wasn’t any bedside lights so reading in bed was either by the main ceiling spotlights or not at all.

This house is very clean, the room had everything I needed-I could have just turned up with a tooth brush! Every necessity and more was provided and the kitchen was well equipped with small pod coffee machine, teas, butter, bread, eggs, yoghurt, fruit milk, soya milk and cereals, bread and all kinds of spreads, sardines even! Such great value for money just down the road from the river and canal. I wouldn't hesitate to use again🤗

The guest house is right on the West Highland Way. We did not have the breakfast offered because we wanted to leave early for our West Highland Way but the guest house offered us a breakfast roll . They had vegan choices for the milk for our tea which was appreciated. They offered a range of DVDs to watch on the TV and a lovely piece of cake on our arrival by our host.Quiet and relaxed stay. Comfortable beds.

As we walked the West Highland Way we found the checkin late for us as we were tired when we arrived and just wanted to lie down. But this was true for all WHW stops.

Just amazed for the value. It sorted me out perfectly. I washed clothes, cooked, got work done, slept great. There was washing powder, softener, cooking stuff. It is new so I’m sure over time it might not be as clean but it was amazing for the money. I would stay here again and again. Also the place is smack bag in town (main side road) so location is banging.

No free parking but it’s free after 1800 I think but this is the only real negative and it is actually nothing to do with the hotel/apartment.

Buffet Breakfast was great with a good selection . The staff were very polite , friendly and professional at all times . The location is great with beautiful walks and great views . Small village is about 10 mins walk with cafes , shops etc . Lovely gift shop just next door . We took our dog and she was made very welcome .

Many aspects of the experience fell below expectations. The place was generally dirty. There were substantial renovations underway. We had to ask for towels. Milk and coffee were far out of date. The WIFI password provided was incorrect.
