The location was fine for all the places which we wished to visit so the time spent travelling to them was kept to a minimum. The breakfast was superb, cooked fresh to our requirements as requested the previous evening. Victoria was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and was able to supply discounted vouchers to one local place of interest. The atmosphere of the house was warm and welcoming.

The Guesthouse is situated very close to a busy road junction which proved to be quite noisy during the late evening time.

Very good accomodation Disappointed with parking arrangements better with apartment parking Maybe flat Numbers BMW parked 2 to 3 ft from wall so more or less 2 spaces took up so no spot left on forecourt without blocking exit By flat Numbers I meant on bay flat Numbers so if blocked in you know who's car it is My wife is partially disabled so had to park on car park round corner

Linda and Steve were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay at Torwood House in April. We found the location conveniently situated with just a short walk to the beach and shops. We would highly recommend Torwood House and want to say a big thank you to Linda and Steve for helping to make our holiday a great one. Peter and Mandy 😀xx

It’s the second time we booked the room. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are very spacious. We had a very good night sleep, and we also ate delicious breakfast and dinner, and had drinks at the pub.

Could use a bit more space and hangers for clothes, but honestly this is a very minor complaint. The place is truly great and we try to stay there when in London.

Avoid this property if you want a decent bed to sleep on, bed base needed replacing but was bodged with wood which was noted on a previous review with photographic evidence - when contacted by booking before our stay they said it had been 'fixed' - as far as I'm concerned the only way a broken divan base can be fixed is by replacing it. Property only had 2 mugs when reservation was for a larger group, this stay was a month ago and the property are not engaging with Booking.com to resolve the fact that we needed to book last minute alternative accommodation due to travelling as a group so we couldn't be split up as we only had 1 vehicle between us and needed to stay at the same location, hence organising such a large property. The stress of dealing with this has aggravated my health conditions and sent my blood pressure through the roof- the only compensation we've been offered is less than £30, I was offered a refund by booking on the day but we would still have been several hundreds of pounds out of pocket so still fighting to get this resolved as the first call we were told that Booking.com would get property to cover difference between the costs of accommodation as well as refunding what was paid so we weren't out of pocket. When we booked this property over a year before the property had a rating of 10, if I could give it minus figures based on my experience I would. I have always left honest reviews and this has been very restrained - I will let the pictures speak for themselves I am only able to upload 4 photos and cannot upload the video I took on arrival, which I took as I was concerned about whether or not things had been resolved from previous listings. This property needs to actually do a inventory and increase their standards as there were opened packets of food, a rusty grater and food residue left in the kitchen sink, plus bedding left in the washing machine and no plug in the bathroom sink.
